Testing

NH Legal Assistance Fair Housing Testing

What is testing?

Testing is a simulation of a housing transaction for the purpose of comparing the responses received by home seekers in protected and unprotected classes to determine if discrimination is occurring. Testers work with the Fair Housing Project to investigate whether landlords or others in the business of renting or selling property treat people who have the same qualifications differently because of their protected class status.

Do you want to help end discrimination in housing?

Work with members of the Fair Housing Project on this important issue.

We have ongoing paid trainings.

Testers are paid as independent contractors and receive a flat rate after completion of practical and classroom training and $18/hour thereafter.
