Ruth practices in a variety of poverty law areas including advocating for domestic violence survivors in family law and civil restraining order cases, disentangling Social Security Disability Insurance and SSI matters for clients with disabilities, and informing and advocating for homeowners so that they receive the property tax relief they are entitled to under New Hampshire law. In her fair housing work, Ruth strives to work closely with the Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services to preserve the subsidized housing tenancies of older and disabled tenants threatened with eviction because they no longer can take adequate care of their apartments and themselves.

Prior to entering the legal profession, Sofia spent six years working in disability and mental health services in New Hampshire. Stephanie Bray

Stephanie Bray has worked at New Hampshire Legal Assistance since November 2007 and is currently the Managing Attorney for NHLA’s Claremont office.
